So, who am I …
I am a Civil Celebrant who is passionate about making your ceremony the right one for you.
My first interest in becoming a Civil Celebrant began many years ago when the policy at the time restricted the number of celebrants appointed. It was not until the law changed in 2003 that I was able to attain my qualification as a Marriage Celebrant, being appointed in 2004.
Since then I have been privileged and fortunate to be able to conduct many weddings, funerals and other ceremonies for a variety of people.
I have been a member of Powertalk (a public speaking group) since then and enjoy honing my presentation skills on a regular basis.
I am married with two wonderful daughters and two grandchildren. We have made Hurstbridge home for some 30 odd years, with its leafy outlook and community feel it is an easy place to live.
My working life has taken many twists over the years, from bar work to office work whilst completing naturopathic studies in between, ongoing work as a Naturopath and Bowen Therapist.
I currently work for a local business part time as well as my celebrancy work.
I have been told many times that my voice is easy to listen to, and my relaxed professional approach has helped to keep all concerned calm throughout the process, making a daunting task enjoyable.
I look forward to meeting you and discussing your story and requirements for your special day.
